At-home skin care has gone beyond exfoliation and eye masks. There are dozens of new devices—and ancient tools that are trending again—on the market to help keep your skin healthy and glowing. According to insights from Spate that Plum Beauty shared with us, the market is on the rise with 1.4 million average monthly searches for facial accessories and devices—but one skin-care tool, in particular, is the most commonly searched: the face scraper.

A face scraper, which also goes by skin spatula, uses ultrasonic waves to penetrate the skin and promote deep exfoliation. This process is meant to minimize blackheads and other blemishes.
