CHINA. Swedish beauty tech and wellbeing house Foreo and sister company FAQ have updated a pop-up store at the Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex to celebrate International Women’s Day (8 March).

As reported, the pop-up was originally launched in January 2022 to coincide with the Lunar New Year holidays. It is located on the first floor of the complex, which recently celebrated its first anniversary.

Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex is operated by licence holder Hainan Tourism Investment Duty Free Co. (HTDF) with support from Lagardère Travel Retail.

According to the brand owner, the pop-up attracted plenty of visitors who experienced both brands’ Home Spa treatments.

This includes the Luna 3 deep-cleansing brush, the Bear facial toning device, and FAQ anti-aging devices.

Several HTDF-exclusive sets from Foreo and FAQ are available at the pop-up. This includes the Picture Perfect Luna 3 and Serum Serum Serum Set, the Candy Collection Luna Mini 2 in Lollipop Pink and Marshmallow Lavender Sets, the Beauty Detour with Issa 2 Mini Set, the Here & There Set, the Luna Mini 2 in Pearl Pink Set, the Spring 2021 limited-edition Bear Set and the luxury 103 Diamond Set from FAQ.

Both brands are offering Home Spa treatment products to encourage women to indulge in self-care during International Women’s Day.

Doubling up: The joint pop-up underscores the powerful, at home spa and anti-aging treatments offered by both FAQ and Foreo in themed, complementary retail environments

“Extending our pop-up at HTDF due to overwhelming demand is a win for both of our brands,” commented Foreo Global Travel Retail Director Gary Leong. “We are excited to continue providing the best service and products to our customers during a season in which many are honouring the important women in their life.

“We believe that our range of products provides many women with convenience, effectiveness, and value for money, all of which have positioned us as one of the leading brands in beauty tech today. We are thankful to HTDF for their support during our pop-up event and look forward to launching many future campaigns with them.”

In related news, Foreo has partnered with China Duty Free Group to exclusively launch The Glow Up set on the retailer’s boutiques and ecommerce platforms ahead of International Women’s Day.

The Glow Up Set comprises the Luna Mini 3 in Pearl Pink and fuchsia colour ways and includes sample sizes of the Serum Serum Serum and Micro-Foam cleanser.
